This comprehensive tutorial will explore everything you need to know to start listing your products on Hypetag and effectively boost your marketing and sales success.
Hypetag is a dynamic platform designed for brand owners and luxury retailers, providing a space to showcase their products with an engaged audience. It combines the power of social media engagement with e-commerce functionalities, creating a seamless experience for both buyers and sellers.
The first step to kickstart your Hypetag journey is by creating your account. Simply visit Hypetag's website, and follow the easy sign-up process outlined below:
Click on “Create Account” as shown in this image:
You’ll be required to enter sign up details, i.e. email address and password. Already have an account? you can “Sign in” instead.
Verify your email by entering the OTP or clicking on the link sent to your email. Used a wrong email address? Just click on “change email address”.
Congratulations! You have created an account. Now click on “Menu” > “Start Selling” on the web or the "Sell' button on our mobile app to start selling.
i. Add Seller Info
Afterwards, enter your accurate information as shown in the image below. Update your “name” and choose a “business name” for your account. Choose a username that can be used to search your inventory across Hypetag.
In the “How do you want to list your products” category (which is shown in the image below), you can choose either of the three options (i.e. Brand, In-store, Luxury Shopper) that best describes your sales profile.
You’ll be required to submit a government approved ID. It is important you use authentic information to allow swift verification.
ii. Submit Application
Click on “Submit” to submit your application. As soon as you submit the form, your application will promptly undergo review, as shown below.
If your review is successful, you’ll be notified via email and the subsequent steps entail how you can start adding and listing your products on our platform.
Adding your products on Hypetag is easier than you can ever imagine. Once your account is verified you can start listing products by searching from the array of products available as shown below. Click on “Sell this Product” if you find the product you want to sell on our database.
i. Add Size Listings
Next, you will be required to enter the size information of the product you want to sell. Select “Size” and specify “Quantity” as shown below.
Select “Availability” status. Choose “Available for immediate shipping” if the product is currently available for shipping, or “Pre order” if it will take more than 2 days to ship the item to our shipping depot.
Select the “Available (country)” where your product is located. Note, however, that selection is limited to where we have shipping depots. Can’t find your country? Select another country closest to you. Rest assured, we will contact you to ensure fast delivery of your item.
Afterwards, enter the price of your item. You can optionally add discounts on your listing whenever you want to.
Click on “Save and add a new size” to save the listing.
ii. Confirm Payouts
You’ll be shown the payout breakdown for your item, every time you save a listing. Click “Confirm” to confirm payout.
Your product size listing will be available on the carousel as shown below. You can add and save other sizes, edit and delete size listings before proceeding. Click on “Proceed” when all sizes have been added.
iii. Product Inventory
Your products will be automatically added to your inventory. You can navigate to "My Products" > "Pending Verification" to view your products that are still awaiting verification as seen below:
Click on products to view sizes and product information. You can edit and delete size listings, unpublish and publish verified listings and add new size(s) as shown below:
iv. Add a New Product
There is the possibility that you might not find what you want to sell. In such cases, you’ll need to add your product to our database by clicking on “Add a New Product” as seen in the image below.
You’ll be required to enter your product information on the next page. Upload at least 1 sample product image that best displays the product you're selling. You can optionally upload featured images of models or photos displaying other important details for your product.
Recommended: using PNG images in transparent backgrounds will get your products approved faster.
Next, select product type and enter product name. After this, you should choose the brand, category, and subcategory for your product. Select or enter a colour, and input estimate product weight. Finally, enter a description for the product. You can click on “Save and continue” after entering the necessary information and your product will be automatically sent for verification.
After saving your product, you will be directed to start adding size listing after the product has been verified.
v. Request a Brand
If you can’t find the brand of product you want to sell on our database, you can request a brand by clicking on “Request a Brand” and submit required information to verify and add your brand to our database.
Note that you can find products you’ve added to Hypetag when you navigate to “My Product > My Contribution” on your sales dashboard.
Here comes the good part, you finally got an order!
You can view and manage your orders by navigating to “My Sales Orders” on your sales dashboard.
i. New Orders
Review new orders by navigating to “My Sales Orders > Sales Orders > New Orders” on your sales dashboard. Accept order if the product is available for delivery; otherwise, kindly decline the order as soon as possible if the item is unavailable.
ii. Open Orders
Once an order is accepted, you can find them in “Open Orders”. You’re required to package items and send them to our verification depot specified on the order information you received when order was made. We will prepare items for delivery as soon as we get them.
iii. Closed Orders
View delivered, declined or refunded orders on “Closed Order”.
Once your item has been delivered successfully, your earnings will be available on your dashboard “Overview” and you can proceed to request a payout.
Congrats again! You’re about to get paid. Request a payout by navigating to “Payouts” on your sales dashboard. You’ll need to add a payout method by clicking “Add Payout Info”.
i. Payout Info
Select a supported currency for your payout.
Select bank name and enter account number and name where applicable. Afterwards, click on “Save changes” to save payout info.
Good job! You have succeeded in adding your payout information. Now, navigate to “Payouts” on your sales dashboard, and click on “Withdraw Funds” to request a payout.
On the next page, select payout info and enter the amount you want to withdraw in the specified currency. Afterwards, you should confirm the amount you’ll be receiving in your local currency, and click on “Withdraw funds”. Withdrawals are normally processed within 5-30 minutes.
